Lever-operated water hydrants are not always easy to use. To turn on the hydrant you must pull "outward-and-upward" on the handle—an odd motion with poor leverage, which can be extra difficult if:
▪The hydrant's joints are rusty...
▪Or its internal plunger is tight...
▪Or you need to turn on the hydrant from the "other" (spigot) side by reaching over the top...
▪Or you are a small person—maybe a petite woman, or a ten-year-old helping mom and dad do farm/ranch chores.
Hydrant Helper™ lets you turn on the hydrant with an easy lifting motion. It installs on the handle with a single bolt or u-bolt and gives you more leverage, making the awkward "outward-and-upward" motion a thing of the past.
Hydrant Helper™ is ruggedly made from 1/4" thick steel bar, comes with zinc-plated hardware, and is fabricated for us locally, right here in Missouri.

We are working on Hydrant Helper™ versions for other hydrant brands.
If you have a hydrant you'd like the Hydrant Helper™ to work with, we would be glad to hear from you to see if we can adapt or create a model for your hydrant.
